How To Enable Email Alerts For VATA Envisage Algo?

First of all you need to go to the settings of the VATA indicator to send alerts. For example if you are using VATA Envisage Algo dashboard, there is a setting for email alerts Switch that on and save the settings as template. This is very important else alerts will not be generated for mail.

To set up the email alerts on MT4/MT5, you will first need to enable email notifications.

You will need two email accounts:

1. One to send the email alerts.
2. Another for receiving the email alerts.

Note:

To send email alerts from a Gmail account, you must enable the “Less secure app” option in Gmail, though this comes with some security risks. If this option is disabled, Gmail will block the application, preventing you from sending email alerts through MT4/MT5. We recommend turning it off when you no longer need to use email alerts.

How to enable less secure apps in Gmail:

1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Select “Manage your Google Account”.
   
3. Click on the “Security” option and toggle the “Allow less secure apps” to “On.”
   

How to set up email notification in MT4/MT5:

1. Log in to your Windows Server.
2. Open your MT5 account.
3. Go to “Tools” and click on “Options”
   
4. Select the “Email” tab and check the “Enable email notification” box.
   1. SMTP Server: Enter your SMTP server details (e.g., for Gmail, use smtp.gmail.com).
   2. SMTP Login: Enter the email address from which you want to send notifications.
   3. SMTP Password: Enter the password for the email account.
   4. FROM: Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications.
   5. TO: Enter the email address where you want to receive email alerts
   6. 
   7. Click the “Test” button to verify the email alerts. You should receive a test email at the “To” address you specified.
      
   8. Additionally, you can view the test message in the journal at the bottom right of MT4/MT5
      
      Click “OK” to activate email notifications.

   9. Your email notifications are now set up and ready to use for your MT4/MT5 algorithmic trading system.
